First-ever ‘green-screen’ shooting used for tech show
8 July 2008 For the first time, ‘green-screen’ digital shooting techniques are being used for a planetarium show, as a production team from the Kiel University of Applied Sciences continues shooting of ESA’s new planetarium show, “Touching the Edge of the Universe.” The green-screen technology is being used together with a new super-high-definition digital camera, allowing life-like digital scenes with real actors to be projected onto planetaria domes.
